Props Ideas

For our opening of "Dangerously In Love" we will be using a variety of props such as a red lipstick. The shot of the red lipstick being applied is sultry and seductive but also the colour red symbolises danger along with the red heels. Every prop in our film is going to have a significant meaning, an example of this is when the mans phone rings, we will use a Blackberry as it gives off a message of intelligence, education and money. We don't want our opening to come across as a typical thriller, therefor by adding in the sexy theme and multiple potential plots, we are keeping the audience entertained and intrigued. As some of the props play key roles in the opening sequence we will be using multiple camera techniques on them for example zoom, mirror shot, over the shoulder and tilting. This will enable our film to be different from all the others as we will have a variety of different shots. We will also be focusing on the main props for an extended amount of time compared to some of the other shots to imply that these are main parts to focus on.
