For our preliminary task, we have watched a few examples on youtube of other students also completing the as media coursework. We have figured out that many students use the matched action shot when opening the door and entering the room. For added effect we decided to use a zoom shot on the persons had when opening the door.
Below is an example of as media students completing the preliminary task.
When the two people are talking we have decided to stick to the 180 degrees rule, which will give viewers the perspective of both characters talking. We have decided to create the script for the dialogue between two characters. For when they are talking we are going to use an over the shoulder shot, this will enable the viewers to see the same point of view as the actors.
